The Old Fairy Tale Association from July 20 to 25, 2021 invites you to the international "Festival of Culture - Long, long ago has the Sadecki Land...", which will be held on the grounds of the Old Fairy Tale Castle. The idea is to continue the cyclical events in the area of culture, art, protection of cultural property and national heritage, which have been held continuously since 2015.
Festival program:
An international open-air sculpture workshop entitled: "Echoes of history enchanted in wood", which will be attended by the best sculptors winning the highest prizes in sculptor competitions, including the world championship. The theme of the open-air workshop will be motifs related to the history of the Mongol invasions.
"Once upon a time in the land of Nowy Sącz". Showing the medieval times in the aspect of Old Polish life and culture, with particular emphasis on the exhibition of museum collections that are the foundation of the permanent exhibition.
Educational and entertainment program with special attention to the youngest entitled: "In the land of dragons". A large part of the Old Tale Castle is dedicated to the youngest. Therefore, the third part of the Festival (July 25) will be a day dedicated to families with children. We hope that for the first time in the castle's history, the dragon Grynbos will breathe fire in honor of the winners of the contests held on this day for the youngest.
Admission to all events of the festival will be free.
